Peikko invests over MEUR 4 in Finland: DELTABEAM® production technology and office expansion

Peikko Group invests in developing its operations in Lahti, Finland. The overall value of the combined investments exceeds EUR 4 Million. The investments aim at the development of production development of DELTABEAM® Composite Beams and office expansion at Lahti. 

The key machinery of Peikko Finland Oy’s DELTABEAM® production facilities will be modernized. The old plasma cutting line will be replaced with a new one. The painting process will be renewed by the construction of a new paintshop. These investments enhance production efficiency and quality, and will be in production use in March 2016. 

The current head office of Peikko Group Corporation and the offices of its Finnish subsidiary Peikko Finland Oy were built in 2007 and comprise 1 690 m2. The current building will be expanded by 1 120 m2, and simultaneously the existing office space will undergo renovation. The expansion work started in June 2015 and will be finished by March 2016. The new facilities will offer modern, ergonomic space for offices and enable the hosting of larger customer meetings. The construction of both the new paintshop and the office expansion will be made by construction company Rakennusliike Pakkanen Oy.
