At the core of this monumental project lies a unique engineering challenge: the deepest top-down construction site in the region, reaching an impressive 24 meters underground with 7 flat slab levels and a massive raft foundation.
Initially designed with S355 reinforcement, the project faced time-consuming fabrication and slow on-site execution. That’s when Peikko made the difference.
With a swift redesign and the implementation of Peikko’s PSB® Punching Reinforcement system, the project turned a corner, substantially reducing production complexity and speeding up delivery and installation. The use of D25 PSB® Punching Reinforcement over 2 meters high in the deep foundation ensured uncompromised strength and stability while enabling faster progress on site.
