As with all distribution centres the quality and reliability of the floor is of paramount importance so the main contractor called on one of Europe's leading specialist flooring contractors, UAB Irlanda to undertake the floor construction of Senukai distribution center at Kaunas, Lithuania. Although only introduced to the market in late 2008 TERAJOINT has already been specified and used for several major projects including the 100,000 square meters Senukai distribution centre at Kaunas in Lithuania. Irlanda, based in Lithuania, – used their Somero laser screed and TERAJOINT to produce a superb quality floor to a very tight schedule.
Technical Director of UAB Irlanda, Saulius Matulevicius, was extremely happy with both the quality of TERAJOINT and also the support from Peikko. Saulius also commented that: "We are very happy with the delivery times of TERAJOINTs. Peikko we see as a very flexible partner in this aspect. They are delivering joints just on time, not too late and not too early, most important Peikko managed to deliver joints after couple of weeks after the order." Irlanda are looking forward to working closely with Peikko and using TERAJOINT for future projects in Lithuania and across Europe.
